Choice Extends Award Booking Window to 50 Weeks, Adds RewardSaver from 6,000 Points/Night

Choice Program Changes for 2025

🔃 Update: The new Choice Privileges updates announced last fall are now live on all platforms. It’s also worth noting that the devaluation that was reposted a couple of days ago for many properties in Europe and Japan was just a glitch. Pricing has returned to normal.

Choice Privileges is introducing new features for members starting in early 2025. Choice will triple its reward night booking window to 50 weeks, give members the option to redeem points for the premium features, and introduce Choice RewardSaver.

Members can soon access these properties with the following new features:

  • Expanded booking window: You will soon be able to book a reward night up to 50 weeks in advance, giving them more time to plan their trip. Currently Choice Privileges members can’t book rewards night stays more than 100 days before their desired date.
  • Premium room types: Redeem points for the premium features that matter most to them, such as extra space, a better view or an upgraded room, at select hotels. While this can be a good thing, it could mean that those better rooms will no longer be available at standard award prices.
  • Choice RewardSaver: Choice is re-introducing the popular Radisson Hotels Americas redemption tool that allows members to book rewards nights starting at 6000 points–down from the previous minimum of 8,000. Reward nights normally go as high as 35,000 points per night. However some Choice Hotels in the Asia-Pacific can charge up to 75,000 points per night and all-inclusive resorts in Mexico and the Caribbean are prices up to 100,000 points per night.
