Another day another concert. This time it’s a little throwback to June 2024 when I got to capture the magic of Smith & Thell in Zurich. The Swedish folk-pop duo known for hits like Forgive Me Friend and Hotel Walls, brought their incredible energy to Zurich.
Their music blends heartfelt storytelling with catchy melodies. Their live performances are super energetic and even though there often are hundreds of people in the audience, it feels super intimate. I got to experience exactly that a few months ago, when Smith & Thell performed at Plaza in Zurich.
Went there for the videos – stayed for the energy and atmosphere
While I was booked to shoot some quick and simple video clips for their social media, I couldn’t resist snapping a few photos during their set. Their energy on stage was electric, and their connection with the audience was heartwarming. From the first note to the last, they had the crowd singing, swaying, and smiling. Their fanbase is one of the most supportive and enthusiastic I’ve seen. That just added to the positive vibes of the entire night.
I have to admit, I have not heard of the band before… But after researching them, I realized I have heard some of their songs though. I quickly realized they do have some die-hard fans in Switzerland too. If you ever get the chance to see them live, don’t miss it!
A Collaboration Worth Mentioning: Smith & Thell x Wrabel
