Veriber and luxury chalets go hand in hand in the ski resort, and there is no better place to stay than Ski Armadillo. They provided high-end accommodation catered and self-catering for ski holidays in Verbier, Switzerland. Their properties are great for guests looking for luxury, style and five-star service.
Here is my full review of Ski Armadillo luxury chalets in Verbier, Switzerland, and why you should stay there.
Ski Armadillo Luxury Chalets Verbier
Ski Armadillo is a luxury chalet company that offers accommodation in Verbier and Nendaz, Switzerland, and Meribel, France. They pride themselves on giving personalised first-class service to guests from start to finish. This includes private chefs (in the catered chalets), a dedicated chalet host, and a complimentary shuttle. Which can take you anywhere you need to go around the resort.
It also boasts a concierge service, who can assist with ski lessons, organising dinner reservations, equipment rental and all other needs of guests. While it is a Sunday to Sunday turnaround, the catered chalet offers 5 nights of catering due to European law and regulations regarding working hours.

Chalet Pierrepointe
Chalet Pierrepoint is a lovely addition to the Ski Armadillo luxury chalets in Verbier, where we stayed. It has 5 bedrooms, all with ensuites that can easily sleep up to 10 guests. It is a catered chalet that can be exclusively rented for groups or families who want luxury, comfort and style.
Chalet Pierrepointe is just over 5 5-minute walk to Place Centrale (centre of town) and a 10-minute walk from the main lift station, Medran, where ski hire and ski lockers are. However, if you don’t want to walk, the free Ski Armadillo shuttle will pick you up.
In 2020, the Chalet was completely renovated to the high standard it is today with a sauna, hot tub and outdoor area. The contemporary Pierrepoint is a free-standing 3-storey chalet with south-westerly facing balconies. The bedrooms are on the ground and second floor, while the main living area is on the first. I love that some of the walls on all levels were glass to take advantage of the scenery outside.
Facilities at the Chalet Pierrepont
The open-plan living on the first floor is a dedicated social and living space. It has a log fire, an eating and lounge area, a kitchen and a balcony with full-width floor-to-ceiling windows that take in the amazing views of the valley and mountains. My favourite part of the day was returning, having the chalet host serve me wine and taking in the view.
On the ground floor, you will find the entrance, a storage area to hang up your ski jackets and the hot tub and sauna. Plus two of the bedrooms and a toilet. Another great way to relax after a hard day of skiing was hanging out in the hot tub and hammam (sauna).

The Rooms
Chalet Pierrepointe has five bedrooms with ensuites across two levels that can comfortably sleep up to 10 guests. Our room was on the ground floor and had views overlooking the front garden. Which looked stunning with a fresh dump of snow covering the bushes.
It was a nice-sized room with a coat rail and fitted both our ski bags. Our bathroom had a shower and had been designed to maximise space. It had bathrobes and slippers for the next-door sauna and hot tub.
Soeder, The Luxury Product Supplier
Soeder supplies all of the chalets managed by Ski Armadillo bathroom products. A Swiss-owned and based company that produces natural soap and bathroom products in various fragrances. There are no artificial additives, just ingredients like wheat protein and Swiss honey.
This means they are good for different skin types, especially in the harsh weather in the Swiss Alps, and they are not animal-tested. In the bathroom, refillable brown glass bottles are used, as they can be filled and are great for sustainability and the environment.

Food Provided
One of the things that the Ski Armadillo prides itself on across its luxury catered chalets is its food and service throughout all meals. The personal chefs bring their unique flair and style to create seasonal menus for guests, while the chalet host will be on hand to take care of you and serve your drinks.
For five days of the stay, breakfast, afternoon tea with canapés, pre-dinner drinks, and a three-course gourmet dinner with paired wine are provided. Meals can be customised for guests with allergies or dietary requirements. However, they must be informed in advance, as some products may need to be pre-ordered.
Our private chef was Maco, who had a lot of experience and a great knowledge of food. Kim, our chalet host, was always on hand to help and offered great recommendations for wine.
Breakfast is served
A continental breakfast, with cooked options, is available at all the catered chalets for five days of the week. The breakfasts in the luxury Pierrepointe chalet were up there as a true delight. Every morning, there was something different, like freshly baked croissants topped with rocket, bacon and scrabble eggs.
If you want something special, no worries because you can place a personal order for breakfast, and the chef will make what you want as a special request.
