Spread centrally among 6 acres, 5 Floors, 92 Rooms & nearby Fatehabad Road Metro station, Tajview Agra IHCL SeleQtions provides spectacular views of the famed splendor Tajmahal from its Taj facing Rooms & SkyDeck restaurant at the 5th floor. Foreign tourists comprised more than 80% occupancy during my stay.
Booking
Member rates typically start around ~10K INR for base category rooms & varies upwards as per demand conditions. Booking 2-7 days in advance usually results in lowest prices, unless in peak season.
I booked 1N for 2A+2C via TATA Neu app 30% discounted members rate at ₹10738 (non-refundable) using 9486 NeuCoins+ ₹1252 paid via Axis Bank Olympus credit card.
2nd Night was also booked via TATA Neu app using members rates at 20% discount over regular rates, with “Pay at Property” option (Paid by ₹9912 worth TAJ GV out of the 10K TAJ GV provided with erstwhile Citi Prestige credit card).
Note: TATA Neu app rates are usually the lowest across platforms, 20% discounted members rate across Taj Hotels. Having a HDFC Bank Tata Neu Infinity Card results in 30% discounted non-refundable rates over regular rates, as of now).
Check-in
Received a Grand & Warm welcome upon check-in. Tilak ritual was carried out along with a Welcome drink- Herbal Tea infused with Jaggery.
Check-in formalities took less than 2 minutes just by signing on a paper, as they fetched all the data from my recently concluded Taj Dal View, Srinagar trip.
The Property
The Room
Requested in advance for a Room upgrade via a simple Email & secured a 2 level upgrade from base category Deluxe Room, City view to Executive Room, Pool view at high floor.
Biotique Toiletries of good quality were provided in bathrooms.
The Food
Breakfast spread at Svanga restaurant (Lobby level) was decent n tasty with Live Dosa, Utpam, Omlette counters. Sunday special theme in dinner buffet is offered.
Jhankar indian restaurant & Saqui bar is alongside Svanga at Lobby level.
Sky Deck restaurant at 5th floor (11 am-11 pm) provides spectacular views of Tajmahal from rooftop.
In case you want to explore local foods, pure vegetarian GMB Sweets & Restaurant at ~400 meters on left after hotel exit is a decent family dining option along with Domino’s.
Taj Hospitality
Post Check-in the Operations Head Mr Gagan took me to a tour of the property showcasing the Restaurants, Jiva Spa, small Gym (with accompanying steam room), Pool, Kitchen Garden facilities along with poolside Temple & Mazaar (existing even before Hotel inception).
He strongly suggested including Bharatpur Keoladeo Bird Sanctuary in our itinerary, situated at just 20 Kms from Fatehpur Sikri, which became a brightening star of our Agra trip. Boating is not to be missed here, giving the feel of a foreign private boat tour.
Platter with a breathtaking TAJ Mahal replica Chocolate, Fruits, Cookies etc. alongwith a bottle of Wine, was offered complimentary in room.
Complimentary 1 Kg Chocolate cake was also offered as a Birthday month goodwill gesture at Night.

Major festivals are celebrated in a grand manner, with Christmas decoration on display during my stay.
Overall my experience at Tajview Agra culminated in a lifetime of memories. Complained for being unable to login into Netflix, technicians were prompt to rectify & replace the TV itself within 5 minutes. Hotel staffs went above n beyond to make our stay delightful & comfortable.
