Another day another concert. This past week we got to see You Me At Six in Zurich on their “The Final Nights of Six” Tour. After nearly two decades of captivating fans with their rock anthems, You Me At Six brought their final Swiss performance to X-Tra last week.
While the venue wasn’t sold out, the loyal fans who were there made up for it. They brought quite the energy and enthusiasm, creating an atmosphere that was both relaxed and exciting. For many, it was a bittersweet evening, knowing this was their last chance to see the British rockers live on Swiss soil.
Supporting Acts Set the Stage
The night kicked off with two impressive support acts. First up was Mouth Culture, a rising indie-rock band known for their infectious melodies and raw energy. They warmed up the crowd with a spirited set that hinted at their bright future.

Following Mouth Culture, The Xcerts took the stage, warming up the crowd even more with their performance. Fans were treated to an unexpected surprise… Suddenly You Me At Six’s bassist, Matt Barnes, joined The Xcerts for a few songs. The crowd obviously cheered and celebrated the impromptu bassplayer-switch.

When You Me At Six finally took the stage, you could feel the fans excitement even more. From the first chord to the final bow, the band delivered a solid performance. They had fans headbanging, screaming, and even shedding a few tears. With mosh pits breaking out and heartfelt singalongs filling the room, it was clear this was more than just another gig… It was a celebration of the band’s enduring impact. Knowing this was their farewell show in Switzerland added a very special feeling to the show.
A Night to Remember
Although the venue could have been fuller, the energy in the room was undeniable. You Me At Six proved that even a smaller crowd can make a lot of noise. I for one feel lucky to have been there. I was happy to have discovered new music. And it was for sure a reminder of how music can bring people together. Even or maybe especially in intimate settings. While this may mark the end of an era for You Me At Six, the memories of this night will undoubtedly live on… Thanks for having me there!
